Peace of Mind
You don’t have to control your thoughts. You just have to stop letting them control you.
Dan Millman
On the surface you appear to be successful and composed. You are driven in your work. You always portrayed yourself as being fine. You are always willing to help others when asked. Your social schedule is busy and full.
Underneath that veil of success lies a struggle. Your mind never stops. It overthinks everything. Behind the polished façade you're fighting a constant churn of anxiety. You fill your life with activities that you don’t enjoy in order to calm your racing thoughts.
You feel overwhelmed by the sensations from within your own mind. You feel like you are drowning.
Your life is over-scheduled, and you are constantly behind your to-do list. There are too many directions pulling you at once. You feel like juggling with too many balls and wonder when all will come crashing down. You are keeping it together in order not to let others down. The truth is, you are letting yourself down.
You are driven by the nervous energy, fear of failure, and fear of disappointing others. The busier you are, the more anxiety and stress are invading your life. Stuck in guilt and anxiety, you are unsure what you really like anymore.
You have great difficulty trusting people. You find it even more difficult to experience and trust your own feelings. You've also become adept at presenting a fake persona to the world because you never show your true feelings to anyone. You find it challenging to create an authentic life of your own.
It’s almost impossible to stop the internal chatter and falling asleep is a challenge. Enjoying the moment is hard as you are always focused on the future and what might go wrong. Future is scary as you tend to dwell on the negative.
You are over-stressed, overwhelmed and exhausted. You have enough.

The Choice is Mine
Life is a matter of choices, and every choice you make makes you.
John C. Maxwell
Making decisions is difficult and painful. You are always second guessing yourself. Everything - from choosing a new outfit to deciding what to eat, seems like a life-altering choice that is causing piercing pain in your stomach.
You avoid making a decision by brushing the problem under the carpet as you don’t want to take the blame if something goes wrong. Are you the only one who doesn’t know how to make decisions? This inner conflict causes unnecessary stress and undermines your confidence.
You probably feel frustrated and powerless. You are loosing self-trust.
You believe other people are more capable of making the “right” choice. You hand over the responsibility of making decisions to others, letting them to take over control of your choices and actions. You are not sure what you like, what you think, or even how you feel because you are allowing people’s views and opinions to drown your voice.
Saying “no” is just not an option. Your time revolves around taking care of other people. You bend over backwards to make others happy even when you are overwhelmed yourself. Looking good to friends, family and co-workers is more important than feeling good inside.
You feel frustrated, empty, angry and resentful – and mostly at yourself.
Fearing the outcome of your choice keeps you from taking risks and trying new things. It is limiting your success in everything from your career to your romantic relationships. You are limiting your future opportunities by becoming a prisoner of your own indecisiveness.
Stop listening to what the world says you should do. Start listening to your own heart
